Ainoa Naniole
Board Member

Ainoa Naniole is a Native Hawaiian attorney and public servant. He currently serves as Assistant Chief Clerk of the Hawaiʻi State Senate, where he helps oversee the Senate’s operations and legislative processes.

Previously, Ainoa held leadership roles at the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education, guiding labor negotiations, and strategic planning, and served as District Director for U.S. Representative Colleen Hanabusa, managing constituent services and military policy priorities. He is also a practicing attorney, with a focus on trusts and estates law.

A graduate of Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama, the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, and the William S. Richardson School of Law, Ainoa is committed to strengthening Native Hawaiian communities through his passion for perpetuating the legacy of Princess Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawananakoa in ensuring the preservation of a Hawaiian cultural identity and traditions.
